I live in Beal with my husband and son who was previously a pupil at the school. I work at First Direct bank in Leeds. Having been with the company for twenty years I have gained valuable experience in compliance, health and safety, procedures and planning, and have their full support and assistance in my governor role.
In my spare time I love baking and creating cakes, my son's birthday requests being the most challenging! I also enjoy walking up the odd mountain now and again, watching sports and (as someone has to!) supporting Leeds United.

I took early retirement in June 2016 after thirty plus years in the packaging industry. Employed by a global manufacturing company in the role of Commercial Director, my key responsibility was leading and managing sales and marketing teams in highly competitive international markets in the pursuit of business objectives.
My working career gave me first-hand experience in a number of key skills which I hope will be of value in my role of school governor. This included financial planning, change management, strategic planning and working in partnership with other members of the team.
Married with two grown-up sons I try to keep active by walking, cycling, playing bowls and I also enjoy watching most sports but particularly cricket and rugby.

I’ve lived and worked in Eggborough for the past 12 years and have two children currently loving their time at the school.
I work locally at Saint-Gobain Glass as a senior electrical engineer and this role has given me some valuable key skills and experience that I can use in my Governor’s role, relating to budget planning and health and safety management.
My primary pastime is spending time with my wife and two children. My other interests include football (playing and watching Leeds United) and Formula 1. I also work hard at home to try to develop my engineering career and progress as far as I can in the business.
